Terms Entered in Search
A name, location, or other term entered in a search tool is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. Cache County Released Inmates does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems. The provider may process the query under its own privacy rules, so review the provider’s notice before submitting information.
Email and Site Messages
When you send an email or use a contact form, we retain the message and the contact details you supply long enough to review and answer it. A message is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Do not send sensitive jail, court, medical, financial, or identity documents through an ordinary message.
Technical Details Collected Automatically
Like most web services, the site receives basic technical data when a page loads. This information helps deliver pages, measure use, and diagnose faults. It may include:
- The internet protocol address used for the visit
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is supplied

Privacy Beyond This Website
Links may lead to Cache County Sheriff and Jail resources, the Utah Department of Corrections, parole and probation information, federal or ICE systems, Utah government portals, and third-party search tools. Once you leave, the destination’s own privacy terms control. Utah agency records may also be handled under the Government Records Access and Management Act, Title 63G, Chapter 2, rather than this notice.
Some advertising partners may follow activity across multiple sites to select interest-based advertisements. That tracking occurs through the partners’ systems and technologies, not through a Cache County Released Inmates record system.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may still be handled by the following parties when needed to provide or protect the service:

We use ordinary administrative and technical safeguards suited to the information handled. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be promised as fully secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or a security breach will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent, guardian, or minor who believes such information was submitted may use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.
